Boxes, Beads, Bells and Balls

With no computer for a few days, it was time to get busy in the stock room.  You've heard the phrase "from floor to ceiling", well, we actually do stack our boxes from floor to ceiling, as you can see above.

It was a good time to bag mercury glass Christmas garland beads and sort papier mache balls.

And measure, cut and wind lengths of tinsel trim onto cards.

And sort and bag spun cotton Christmas bells and balls.

Down Time

Walking In The Neighborhood

Shadows And Vines

Yesterday in my daughter's garden, bees buzzed, hummingbirds hovered and butterflies enchanted, as palm fronds rustled and swayed, casting sharp shadows on her very blue wall.

The Cat Days Of Summer

Thomas' first stop yesterday was the kitchen, for some roast chicken and a bowl of cream, then out onto the front porch to keep watch on the birdbath in the afternoon shade.

The Sky Last Night

The sky last night, reflected in my kitchen window, and starting to fade as the sun sank slowly in the west.
