On The Road

Last week, a chance to ride along on a surf trip to Malibu was too good to pass up. Lunch was burritos under a two story tall Mexican gentleman. Next stop, the beach! Below, a fashion photographer and his entourage were shooting a model in beachwear.

We watched the surfers from the pristine grounds of the iconic Spanish Revival Adamson House, which is embellished inside and out with Malibu tiles.

My daughter spotted a familiar face in the line-up. Those are the Malibu hills and the pier in the background.

Below, just a few of the designs offered by Malibu Pottery during its short run from 1928-1931.
