By The Sea

Yesterday was perfect for a drive up the coast with my daughter, to get hamburgers and fries to eat on the bluffs above the beach.

Above, looking north, the late afternoon sun turns the sandstone cliffs orange.

The bluff had the thinnest layer of moss on the shady side of the tumbleweeds. Below, looking south.

I love your photos. Even though I've lived on the California coast now for 30 years, your photos make me long for it, and all I have to do is stop the world and take a walk. Thanks to the beauty of your photos, I'll take the time to do just that this week. I just needed a little reminder. Thanks.
