American Old West Saloons - #13 In a Series

The Saloon Dubay was built in 1847 along the shores of Lake Dubay. Customers included the local lumberjacks and river workers. It remains the oldest standing saloon in Marathon County, Wisconsin. Above, in 1863, patrons and townfolk posed for posterity in front of the saloon. Below, 60 years later in 1933, it had changed with the modern times but was still a local gathering place.

A sarsaparilla please...I can't believe you have bulbs coming up, maybe this winter will be a mild one, for you anyway. Farmer's Almanac says very cold for us, but meager snow amounts...that would be an answer to prayers!!!
