Depression Era Posters

Another circa 1936-1941 Great Depression era government funded poster. This one was created in New York for the town of Hempstead, to caution citizens about the contagion of tuberculosis.

The posters were created by artists under the auspices of Federal Art Projects as part of FDR's efforts to make work through the Works Progress Administration.
