Edible Treasures from The Fruit Stand

We never leave the fruit stand empty handed. Actually, we usually buy their fruits and vegetables by the crate full and rarely make it home without having polished off a couple baskets of berries along the way.

Up close, the skin of a purple onion looks more like a piece of fine silk fabric.

The tomatoes are grown locally and picked fresh every day, sweet as candy.

Multiple varieties of lettuce are grown locally, too.
