American Country Stores ~ #2 In A Series

In November, 1942, in Greenbelt, Maryland, schoolboys lined up with their wagons outside a grocery store. They were hoping to deliver groceries for shoppers who were walking due to gasoline rationing and tire shortages. This World War II era picture was taken by Ann Rosener as part of FDR's New Deal.
