Down By The Riverside

Our largest local river passes under the railroad trestle and disappears into shadows of the Coast Highway bridge just before it joins the Pacific Ocean.

For more shadow shots from around the world, you can visit Hey Harriet and our hostess, Tracy, in Australia.

I loved the drive up the coast to Northern California, the villages on it's cliffs could've easily housed this wandering soul...beautiful!

The parallelness of it appeals to me...I'm reading a lot about railways currently...I grew up beside one...the idea of the thing going over the river is amazing...
