Low Tides And High Spirits

We get extreme tides at this time of year and yesterday was no exception. A high surf warning coupled with warmer than normal weather meant a walk on the beach made a good plan.

A tangle of seaweed glowed gold in the afternoon sun.

The sandstone cliffs are colorful down along the shoreline.

A pearly shell with a band of blue.

Your sunny and colourful photographs are helping to warm up a very cold day here in England!

Thank you for this taste of CA, Golden West! Just stopping by for a little visits... On Sunday hubby & I are leaving for our trip to share Christmas with my family... Two whole weeks--I can't wait! So scrambling to get all sorts done--LOL! I have a couple of pre-posts ready to go out while we're away, but online time will be limited. So look forward to catching up with you after Christmas. :o) Wishing you & yours the Happiest Holiday and JOY in the New Year ((HUGS))

I love the colour of that pearly shell GW - and the thought of your warm weather cheers me up here in the north of England with deep snow.

Your photography is stunning GW--especially for someone in frigid Toronto.

You've brought a little warmth into our lives.
