It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

No matter how early the decorating starts, time has a way of slipping by and even the best intentions fall by the wayside. Hence, the current state of disarray and partially decorated spaces. We like to bring a bit of Christmas to most rooms and this is a picture of this year's tree in the kitchen. Lots of icicles, birds and angels, glass bead garlands and yellow lights. My ornament collection started some 35 years ago. The picture below is a closer look.

I love the pear print, I collect fruit pics for my kitchen...I don't put up trees anymore, I have a small family, my only grandson is soon to be 22(Jan.1), my mom is in Florida, my home is my studio, so you know what that means...no space for a tree!

However, my grandson, when he was little, gave me a little tiny wooden Christmas tree that I set out every year...if I can remember where I put it last year...ha! The memory's going...but the meaning is still in my heart!

Beautiful. Love the fence.

I'll also echo Sharon's sentiment....love the pear print!

I love the tree GW - I too love getting out the tree ornaments, which I have been collecting for years - it is like meeting old friends again - there is always one I have forgotten.

Beautiful tree, it has certainly started to put me in the Christmas spirit.

We are putting ours up next week. A little close to the wire this year, but better late than never.

That is one beautifully decorated tree, Golden. I love it. I, too, have a super collection of Christmas Ornaments, some from my Mother and some from a great Uncle, they are very precious to me.

I can't even begin to tell you about our 'tree'. It sounds crazy but actually looks like a tree. My husband strung wire from the top of the fireplace (that doesn't work) to the bottom and attached big branches of greens and holly, then strung little white lights and hung ornaments. I couldn't believe it.

I'd told him I wanted a tree this year but we're going away the day after Christmas so it wouldn't make sense to have one that will completely dry out while we're gone. This'll do.
