Cotton Candy Sky

The sunset was pretty enough to draw me outside last evening with my camera, but the real show was to the east. The brightening moon rose over the hill behind our house as the setting sun washed the clouds with a pale pink.

What a beautiful sky you captured. And thanks for posting such fascinating "articles." I've been enjoying reading the past few entries very much.

Lovely picture - I must say I always find the moon more exciting than the sun - there is a subtlety to it whereas the sun is "in your face." Lovely photograph.

That moon is quite spectacular in the pink sky, it stands out so vividly. Lovely.

Oooo...love the title and the photo! I've love to scoop up some of that pink goodness and sit on top of the moon and eat it--LOL!...GORGEOUS! Happy Day :o)
