Easter's Moonset

Yesterday at dawn, the wanning moon slipped away across a cloudy sky.

Ever wonder why Easter changes dates every year? It is celebrated on the first Sunday after the first full moon after the Vernal Equinox.

I didn't know why the dates were different every year...interesting.

The palm looks like the New Zealand Nikau tree, or in Borneo , the betal nut tree. Looks great in black against the moon light.
